avisynth and the intel core 2 quadro

will the new version of avisynth with the builtin multithreading be available by the time the intel core 2 quadro comes out in october? Or would we still have to use the MT plugin for the time being?

avisynth 2.6 pre-alpha release is available here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=114643)
I wouldn't count on reaching beta state in next month. (And if you buy the core 2 quadro could you post some avisynth timings with it :) . Not sure how well the multithreading in my MT plugin scales)

tsp, can you try to push 64-bit development?

AviSynth 2.60 final should be an 64-bit version. In installer, you can put both version ( 32 and 64-bit ), so the users can choose between them.

It's squid_80 that are pushing the 64 bit version allthough I think he is drowning in the asm conversion.
