anyway, before i've formatted my pc, i was able to open MP4 files (with h264 codec) in virtualdub using avisynth, in AVS script files. using 'Directshowsource' command, i was able to open videos in virtualdub, and so i encoded the video for XVID.

now i formatted my pc lately, and after i installed my programs, this message appeared:

Video returned: "Directshowsource: unable to determine the duration of the video"

Audio returned: "Directshowsource: unable to determine the duration of the video"

using Directshowsource, i'm able to open RMVB, AVI (h264), AVI (XVID), and even MKV (h264). and before the format, I couldn't open these same MKV files with directshowsource. and i can see only one XVID codec.

and now after the format, i can see two XVID codecs: one with fourcc: xvid, and the other with fourcc: divx.

I use K-lite Mega Codec pack 1.52, ffdshow-20051129, VirtualDub-1.5.10. and already used search, tested some stuff to see if something changed. but nothing.

Anyone can help me?
