Possible to export menu?

I have a DVD with 4 eps of a TV show which starts with a root menu that has these submenus

play - episodes - features - languages

Now I would like it to have only the submenu 'episodes'. I can trace to this menu and kill playback on all previous menus and stuff I'm not interested in and blank em in Vobblanker.

Instead I would like to export this episodes sumenu which has 4 buttons that link to the corresponding episodes and import it to a DVD consisting of only the 4 eps re-authored by DVD Shrink.

Is there an easy way to do this already? TIA!

Possibly the easiest way is to delete all other menu PGCs (PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) should help here or DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php)). Save/export your DVD, ensuring you backup important files first.

Hop over to your new project and in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) simply import the now slimmed down menu using right click --> Import Menus. You may need to rewrte some VM Commands, especially if the eps are in different titlesets.

Another way would be to do the kill playbacks etc and make dummies out of all the now useless PGCs. If they are not dummies, you can remove the offending lines of code that still reference them.

You might also consider Titlewriter. You can then substitute the menu picture with yours via VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm), for example.

Should be fairly easy with DvdReMake Pro. Just import both disks (from Shrink with episodes - although you can do it easily in DRMP itself; and original with menu). Select PGC with menu (in tree on the left), right-click and "copy PGC". Switch to project with episodes, and paste PGC into one of the LUs (create one first if there is no) by right-clicking on LU and "Add copied PGC". Adjust navigation and you are set.
