Anybody has been able to do this? I just need to convert some AC3 to WMA10Pro, but Windows Media Encoder refuses to recognize the AC3s as a valid format (tough I can play the in Windows Media Player using AC3Filter or FFDShow).

Ok, I found a way: setup AC3Filter to WAVE output. That way WME can use it and ancode the file with no problem.

You can also transcode directly your AC3 to WMA with foobar (with the AC3 plugin & wmenc.js script) or with WMNicEnc via an avisynth script (installation of avisynth is mandatory of course...)

According to Sagittaire, it's possible to feed WMEncoder with 6Ch AC3 sources and generate 6Ch WMA9 Pro streams...

Sagittaire is wrong...unless to put AC3 in WAV container but this is useless.
