Forum archive search

Could someone tell me how to search the forum archives? Often I find articles on doom9 on google after having no success searching the forum from the search/advanced search. I am not seeing a link/checkmark/selection for searching the archives.

There's no separate archive, google and forum search both look through the same posts. The archive pages are really just the printable versions (look at thread tools). That google gets results when the forum's doesn't is just because vbulletin's search is junk.

To use Google search with this site, enter your search term(s) and add "site:forum.doom9.org" without the quotation marks. It's a better search engine than the one this forum uses, which will skip any search term of three letters or less.

While google is indeed the better search engine, the built-in one has some options that google doesn't have.. it's a shame that jelsoft can't even handle quoted search terms and boolean operators.. it's one of my biggest gripes with this board software.. but other board search engines I've used have the exact same issue.
