Trouble in IVTC/Deinterlacing an AMV

I got an amv but it has many interlaced artifacts and is too big to fit were I want. Therefore I will re-encode it.

I don't have much experience in IVTC/deinterlacing, and I coudn't get Decomb nor TDeint working for this clip. Anyone has any clue?

The whole reason I ever got interested in video in the first place... Fixing others' mistakes. :p Someone didn't follow the guides on amv.org obviously.

I'd suggest TFM with mChroma=false, and then a simple TDecimate with chroma=false. However, you'll have to live with bad chroma, unless you can just rerip those scenes, because they converted interlaced chroma into progressive and screwed it all up. You can probably Dup afterward, again with chroma=false and blend=true, to partially restore the chroma (and help video quality in any case). Thankfully it wasn't resized.

Could be worse, I have a tenchi video (Sisters in Arms) from them full of blending and skippy telecide-but-no-decimate scenes. But that one was fully restorable, at least, this won't be.
