Hey guys .. i rip movies by Gordianknot n then when i am trying to play them on the player i m not able to play them .
Some body told me i am doing something rong with the settings og GK.Can any boday tell me which are perfect setting so that all the rip will be played on standaloneplayer.
One thing more how cani increase the sharpness of the rip when ripped by GK.

How did you encode your videos? DivX or Xvid or.. ??
Without the Chipset name, all I can suggest you is to check that you aren't using QPel and GMC and that there're not more that 2 consecutive B-frames. Also check if the video has Packed Bitstream or not. Mpeg4Modifer will tell you all of this (except the 2 Bframes I think) and will allow you to remove (or to add) PB if the problem is that, latest GSpot will tell all :)

I encode in Xvid n i m using Qpel n GMC n video dont have packed Bitstream .

GMC is the biggest issue. Xvid GMC is never supported. Anyway you are wasting your time encoding with GMC. It takes ages an rarely increases quality.

possibly QPel and more then 1-bframe will cause a problem too. impossible to know without knowing your model and therefore the chipset in your player
