No need to be sarcastic. Yes, Pookie's delivery might not be that great but he was making a valid point. You need to give more information so people can help. For example, what's the brand and model of your PVR? What do you mean specifically by video is ok but audio is bad? Those details would give people some insight as to your problem.

The PVR is the new viewsat PVR 7000. The pc software is usb explorer. used to download from stb to pc . after the files are downloaded they need to be converted back to mpg . when i convert to mpg and play the files on my pc the guality of the video is ok but the audio has errors or glitches parts missing . not sure how to express how the audio sounds thats why i said it's bad . hope this is better explanation of my problem . wthldh

My apologies, wthldh :D Intentionally being naughty to protect you from future flaming or from 0 people responding to your posts. There is a wealth of expertise on these boards, but you'll have to provide as much information as possible regarding your problem-

Name of Capture Device
Version of Capture Software
Version of Windows, & Service Pack
Basic PC info
Codecs installed

You can use the free app called SIW to gather much of this information:

http://www.gtopala.com/siw_download.html

You can right click on most of the devices and do an "export to txt" Right Click on the following:

"Audio and Video Codecs"
"Hardware"

Seriously, welcome :)
