This is slightly OT but I dont know where else anyone who has enough knowlage of the GLP to answer this question.

anyways

I'm building a web core thats extensable into a webcomic generator with full systems for voting comments and user registration

so I would like to protect it under the GLP or other such licence. So where would I beable to find out what exactly I can cover with the glp
source I know, what about names that go with it? I remember somthing about intrinct names to code only or something along those lines.

thank you for your help

Copyright doesn't protect names, that's covered by trademark law ... unregistered trademarks aren't very well protected, but registering a trademark is a rather expensive process :/

Yeah I was noticing a lack name protection, it seems rather strange that you can CR your creation but not protect its name. oh well.

hmm
its only 300$CAD to attempt to register
and from what I'm reading what I would like to register is within the guidelines
to bad it just out of my budget for now :(
