I've long struggled with asynchronous audio/video TV captures through my Plextor ConvertX. I've now seen something that might serve as an explanation: Could it be that the transition from news to ads to movies to ads to movies etc. contain defective data (different temporal information, jumping gop sizes etc.) and that these wrong data cause the asynchronicity?
