Line Interferance problem.

For the record, I've RTFM's and searched the past threads.

I'm working with a video that has line interference from a TV cap and the lines run close to a x= -2 y= +3 patern. The lines are about 3 pixels thick IME.

I've been trying to read both the Defreq and FanFilter manuals and I can't seem to get it. Is there any simple script for either of these filters that I could start off with?

I'm sorry I don't have a pic. The video is on another computer at work.

Defreq is the only one I have experience with. You first use the arguments show=2,info=true, and it'll pop up with an fft, a selected interference pattern, and a sample. Any bright "stars" in the fft should be removed, except the center. Defreq is entirely manual, you have to play with fx and fy by guessing and correcting until you land the box on the bright point you're aiming for, and then you use the "sharp" value from the info to hone into the exact frequency. At that point the frequency window should match one of your major interference frequencies, and you can move on to any others (with fx2,3,4). Finally you remove show and info and you have your defreq'd image.
