I used DVDFab Decrypter like i normally do to decrypt Fun with Dick and Jane and Memoirs of a Geisha. They both have the same problem. When I open up the files with DVD Shrink, around 6 gigs of material is under the Unreferenced Material folder. When i go to reauthor tab, the main movie is only 143mb, and when i try to move it, i get a message "DVD shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid DVD navigation structure." So, i decided to make an .iso, and burn to a 8.5 dl dvd. It burned fine, but it will only play the last 5 mins of the movie, and go back to the menu. I have searched the forums for a solution, but haven't found any help. Hopefully someone here knows how to resolve my problem.

Hi!

Instead of using DVDFab Decrypter, re-rip your original DVDs using the "RipIt4Me" package (AUTOMATICALLY uses RipIT4Me, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS, and DVD Shrink).

You can obtain this freeware at:

www.ripit4me.org

Although the package is VERY intuitive/automated, while you're there, I'd suggest you read the excellent tutorial.

Or... YOu can run the output of DVDFab through FixVTS (Full DVD mode). This will allow DVD Shrink to open the DVD and put the movie in the normal place (i.e., not unreferenced!).
In the future, I would stick with setarip_old's advice and use RipIt4Me...
