Ok,i've downloaded the following...

DivXCreate.exe
DivXInstaller.exe
and
DivXPlayer631Installer.exe

DivXCreate.exe and DivXInstaller.exe are the same,i know
this,but the knewly released DivXPlayer631Installer.exe
has a different size and hash,i know it says Divx Player,
but does this include the codec, converter, etc.
Just need some clarification,i'm doing a clean install.

Thank you.

Where did you download this from? Can you give the URL from where you downloaded this? Doesn't the installer show the components enclosed before installing?

From the name, it sounds like it is just the DivX Player.

I'm getting the new DivXPlayer631Installer.exe

from

I used my old links from the last couple of months

for DivXCreate.exe DivXInstaller.exe

This is something which you could have checked for yourself, instead of asking.

DivX Create (DivXCreate.exe) is our old package which was recently replaced with DivX for Windows (DivXInstaller.exe).

DivX Player 6.3.1 (DivXPlayer631Installer.exe) is currently available on DivX Labs only, and features a version of DivX Player that supports mp3 Surround. See here:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=115410

I'm surprised people are mirroring the labs release so quickly.

Incidentally, in case you are concerned, our official installers for Windows are all signed with a Verisign issued certificate with publisher name "DivX, Inc." and sha1 thumbprint "1b 14 70 a6 cd 7e 55 8c 97 40 91 94 8a 41 e1 76 c5 84 5a e5". Bundles older than August will have sha1 thumbprint "4e dd b0 9a b4 f1 71 c6 b1 3f 13 6a 15 f2 58 d9 71 d8 e6 15".

Very cool, thanks for clearing that up for me.
I keep a text file with all my direct links and
once things fall off the normal drop spot i get
a little concerned.I've used divx for a good
year now and love it,keep up the good work.

Thanks again.

DigitAl56K, when we to expect DivX 6.3 encoder?

In DivX 6.31 package, codec is still 6.25, right?

Yes, the latest public release of DivX Codec is still 6.25. A newer version will be released later this month.

Alright, that's it! Who's been talking?! I suspected we had a mole here at DivX, I just never knew they were in so deep. But I'll find them, by gosh I'll find them...
