I have some .avi Files recorded from a Canon Digital IXUS 300. Now I would like to put these on a SVCD.
The only problem I am encountering is, that I would like to have 2 Audio Tracks: one primary with an MP3 Background Music and a secondary with the Original voices from the .avi files.

Could you please help me and tell me, which way is the best to do this?
Thanks Alot!

Encode each audio stream separately. You can't use mp3 audio in svcds. You'll have to encode it to mp2.

Take your 2 audio streams and your video stream and multiplex them using bbmpeg. You can switch between the audio tracks using the audio button on your dvd remote. As far as I know there is no software player which will allow you to play both audio streams.
