Opens in VLC Not pgcedit or PowerDVD

I decrypted a 3 disk instructional set with muti angles in DVD Decrypter using Ifo mode. The size is similar to the originals. All three will open with VLC. They will not open with PowerDVD. I tried to look at them with PGCEdit and DVDRemakePro to see what was different from the original but they wouldn't open. They will open in IfoEdit. Any idea what I should be comparing with the original to see what has changed?

PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) and DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php) will not open them since you have ripped in IFO mode and do not have a video manager (VIDEO_TS.IFO).

VLC is opening the VOBs as any media player should do (inlcuding PowerDVD).

Any reason you ripped in IFO mode? Why not file mode, all files?

I never looked at that setting before as everything always worked without making any changes. In reading various posts after the problem occurred it was not clear that the mode would make a difference. As there's no encryption, I'm assuming I can just copy the missing ifo using cmd.exe?

No, as you may have other titles and titlesets that have not been ripped, the VMG may not line up with what has been ripped.

I'd start again in file mode, all files - or since there is no encryption, simply copy all files in Explorer.
