Recode reading error

Recode will start to read a movie and about 5-10 seconds into it it will say "an unknown error aoccured in the asynchronous file reader". I tried two movies. I have 7.02 and a BenQ burner. I have no trouble with others like Shrink or CloneDVD2. Anyone knows what's wrong? thanks

Are you trying to use Recode to rip a copy-protected DVD? If so, be advised that Recode can't do that...

I have AnyDVD that's why I said I have no trouble with Shrink or CloneDVD2.
