For awhile now , whenever I burn a DVD they playback fine in the beginning and then begin freezing up to the point I just remove the discs from the player.
I use DVD 43 , DVD Shrink (latest build) and DVD Fab Decrypter (same) most of the time. I rarely ever get errors and seems to go through the ripping/recording process without a hitch. I have tried virtually every brand of DVD media out there and that doesn't seem to change the issues.
I understand the speed issues as well so I set the speeds typically to the lowest to lessen the chance for errors. This only seems to happen with my dvd backups though and never cd's or dvd recording for data.
The latest endeavors were "V for Vendetta" and "Scary Movie 4". I am running an :
Win XP
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
4gb PC 3200 DDR ram
HP 740b Dual Layer DVD+R/RW DVD-R/RW
