Crop 2.35 DVD to 1.77 Xvid AVI

I would like to crop a 2.35 DVD down to 1.77 XviD file using AutoGK. Need this to playback on my Cowon 480x272 screen. Granted the screen is 4" but I would like to use all of the screen.

I know about the rule of 16, but I can't seem to get the crop right.

How do I set this in the F9 screen?

Install the full GordianKnot, which will give you a realtime visual of the cropping. You can see what you're doing and at the same time get a report of the current aspect ratio. From there you can enter the same crop settings into AutoGK, and you'll probably want to force 16:9. Otherwise you'll have to set a crop parameter and preview the file over and over until it's right. There is no "proper" way to crop a 2.35 DVD to 1.77 because there are many variations in the production of DVD's.
