I ran into an interesting problem with PgcEdit (latest version). The "Check DVD +/-R Size" function tells me I got a nice DVD-5 here, 97.59% (4.272 GB). However, when I select the "Burn DVD / Create ISO" function, I get a another "Used size", 14.529 GB. Obviously I can't burn or create an ISO. I dimly remember that there has been something about it in the forums but I can't find it right now.
How did I arrive at such a situation? First, I muxed a re-encoded video, audio and subtitles with Muxman. Then I opened this compilation in PgcEdit, and used the "Clone current PGC". Why? Because the original has two titles in the VTS, the "real" one and another one for different commands (a playlist, I presume). PgcEdit won't let me replace VSTS titles if the number of titles doesn't match. Finally, I opened the original DVD directory and used the "Replace VTST titles" function. The result is perfect - it works flawlessly in PowerDVD, but when I try to Burn DVD / Create ISO, I get the odd "Used size" I described in the first paragraph.
I believe I could burn this compilation with any other program, but I like PgcEdit too much to do it any with other program :)
