About KISS dvd player(dp1000) and aspect ratio.

Hey all ,
I just recieved my DP1000 KISS dvd player yesterday.
I had some problems reading the XviD format , so I just used the MPEG4 Modifier and tagged UNPACK under 'packed bitstream'. that pretty much solved this problem.

the New anoying problem is the black bars on top and bottom of the movie. makes the movie all small on the TV screen.
If I , for example, use the BSPLAYER on the PC I can just strech it to 4:3 and insted of a small display I get it full screen.

Is there a way to strech it with MPEG4 modifier? or is this full re-encode proccess only ?

with mpeg4 modifier u can also change the PAR to 4:3 if you want. Or simply use the remote of your tv...

btw: the black bars appear for some reason: to keep the proper aspect ratio of your movie. When you stretch it to 4:3 you get eggsheads ;)

I have an LG 9900 and I can set the aspect ratio directly from the remote, without the need of modifying the file. There should be something like that in the Kiss Player.
