PES Streams Doubt [Archive]

Intro 4 of H.222.0 mentions PES Streams.It defines this Stream as continuous sequence of PES Packets of one Elementary Stream with one stream Id .

Is it related to Program Stream only.

Does any of the Digital Terrestial Broadcasting Standard for Mobile like ISDB-T/DVB-H transmits this PES Stream.

Both program stream and transport stream contain PES

No I am not talking about the PES but the PES Stream.
Intro 4 of H.222.0 mentions this it is transmission of all PES Packets for a Particular PID.This Stream is identified by stream_id.

Hi,
Yes, PES Streams are related to both program and transport streams. Series of PES packets form one PES stream.

Please note that PES Stream "is not defined as a stream for interchange and interoperability".

"is not defined as a stream for interchange and interoperability" - this is a quotation from the Intro 4 H.222 - the same page in the specification you were taking about (look at the end of Intro 4 H.222).
