Hi, I need help in stopping Leadtek TV card from recording what looks to be like on fast forward off and on.
System specs, dual 4200 AMD with Asus Deluxe slip motherboard & 2 6600GT graphic cards in slip mode, 1 GB of RAM, three hard drives with plenty of room.
The card plays back other video formats okay and old recordings that I had done with the card. Any suggestions I will try, thanks
Yours Steve

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I don't own the DV2000 but the Expert 2000. Could you give more infos on your problematic capture processes?
- MPEG2?
- What bitrate, what quality?
- capture resolution and settings?

Is it overclocked?
Did you check with Leadtek that there is no problem capturing with a dual core?

Has anything changed in your configuration since the old recording?
hardware or software or drivers...?
Edit: may get more attention in the capturing video section?

Hi mate, Leadtek has not answered any of my e-mails.
All I could get from their site was that direct show should not be installed. I thought that was part of MS. and this was a
post 2 years ago.
