get CLI version, not VFW.
In the command line, jsut add "--threads 2"
or use a GUI ;)

Well if you didn't set it to use more than one thread of course it won't use both cores. There's not much benefit dual core will give you when you run it single-threaded.

the cli version doesn't work with vdub?
and i guess the vfw version doesn't support multithreading
is there somewhere a guide to megui where all those settings are explained?

thanks, i managed to get it working
at least 85-90% CPU load and 14fps with a 1024x768 source
not bad
though using only a single core it was about 8-9fps
now when i selected automated 2pass
then the first pass was 27fps and second 17-18fps
new core2duo rocks

Nice to hear that, n3r0 :)
You are running the E6600 at 2.7GHz, right ?
