I posted this problem on videohelp.com but nobody seems to know how to help me; either that or they don't care to share the knowledge. I've been editing my MCE recorded TV shows and movies using VideoReDo Plus with great success...up until I tried to edit a movie recorded from a premium channel. The only program I can even view this recording is Media Center itself. The recorded files' properties tell me that the show is not protected, but it's sure acting like it is. Has anyone else run into this problem, and more specifically, HOW do I get around this even if it is actually protected? Thanks.

Edit: Well, now that I tried scanning further into the movie I find that even Media Center won't play the file(s)
