VirtualVCR error , FlowMeter: Timer Problem Detected Audio Resample may be broken

I'm getting an error I just can't fix. When I start a capture, I get two boxes, each titled "Filter Message Box" and saying "FlowMeter: Timer Problem Detected Audio Resample may be broken: 301". The number is different in each box, but always in the 200 or 300 range. The capture will be started, but only of the audio; the video will be "paused" until I click *the first box*, then the video will capture normally, regardless of whether I click the second. Thus, the result is a 100% loss of video frames until I click ok.

Any ideas?

Gspot may tell you if you have a broken audio codec....

You may try capturing without compressing the audio.

If above doesn't work, then you should disclose more info of your hardware.

I tried both with (MP3) and without (PCM) compression, same message.

Whoa! Impressive and expensive toys! But I was going for audio whether it's integrated or Creative Audigy $1000s 20.1 card :D.....

I based the initial suggestion on VirtualDub's finicky setting about integrated audio. I know I know you are using Virtualvcr which is what I'm using too. My setup is probably 5 times slower than yours, capture card is a Philip based software card.

Did you check if there is any broken (audio) codec with Gspot?

Sorry, I forgot, integrated audio. Just capturing via the line in. I have Gspot, but I've only used it to check the codecs on files. How do I check for a broken audio codec?
