Take a look at the thread that krieger2005 pointed to.
Basically, LRemovedust limits chroma change.

Basically, that statement is almost wrong. ;)
First of all, LRemoveDust limits the changes for luma pixels. Chroma change may be limited too, or may be not - depends on the version of LRemoveDust script, and there were quite a few of them ...
The point is, usually noise levels are moderate, and small changes like +/-2, 3 or 4 are sufficient to remove the noise. But without the "limit" protection, the original RemoveDust will cause much bigger pixel changes than needed (during motion, mostly), resulting in too much detail removal.

LRemoveDust is an awesome script. I haven't used it in awhile, I really need to pull it out and give it a try again!
