Hi I'm trying to split a 6ch wav into 6 mono files. The 6ch wav file has 24bit resolution and 96khz sampling rate. besplit produces crap output and besweet makes only 16 bit waves and produces crap too. any ideas which tools i can use?
cheers

Use Wavewizard. Once u got the program, open the wav with Add, then go to Edit --> Preferences --> Ignore File size Header: always / Stream Manipulation: Mono Streams / Output Format: Wav PCM. Then OK. To end, hit "Convert". And thatīs it.

"Wavewizard 0.54" thread is pretty explanatory. Might be something for johnman to consider though.
Anyway, I must have tried thousands of ways to get WAV de/multiplexing/channel mapping/header changing the way I wanted it without success before johnman created WW.
One million thanks go to him. Like I said on another post before, there isnīt pretty much anything audio related that I do that doesnīt go thru WW these days.
