Results are the same, bit-to-bit. LimitedSharpenFaster, as the name suggests is just faster. It is a mod of the original LimitedSharpen by mg262, to utilize MaskTools 2.0.

is limitedsharpen still at this moment the best sharpening filter or has there been a new Release of some other filter ?

Is a toss up between LSF and Seesaw IMHO.

The supersampling controls the speed entirely. LSF needs a minimum of 1.1 for non-aliased edges (1.2+ is better), SeeSaw gets by fine with 1.0 with good video, although artifacty video looks better with 1.2+ or simply lsf.

Also, amused by this:

In that case, feeding seesaw with mvdegrain and a light lremovedust will do nicely.

I cleaned up this thread and handed out a strike for rule 4. Now all of you behave yourself and use the report button if necessary.
