Hi. I don't if this that I am going to say has been said again, if so please tell me the thread to read it from there. My problem is that I have ripped a DVD Video in my hard disc and now I want to copy it into a DVD RW. But when I try to start the process a message appears and says that the redistribution of the files of the DVD Video has failed. It also says that "the size of the file isn't multiple of the logical size of the block (2k)". Have you any idea what I should do to copy it to a DVD+R? Srry but I am a new.

Hi!

It would really help if you indicated:

1) The TITLE and Region of the ripped DVD
2) What software and procedures you used to rip it to your hard drive
3) What burning program you were using that generated the error message
4) Whether the hard drive ripped version plays properly on your PC

Welcome to doom9!

All DVD files are even multiples of 1 sector (2k). If your files are not perfect multiple of this, you will get this error.

It probably also leads to the "redistribution error".

A burning log would be handy.

Ok, should I post the log that is created with notepad? I am on vacations now. I'll post it when I get back.

Post it. Attach it, whatever. We can't really help unless we see it.
