I've used VOBEdit to join vob's and now I should use IFOEdit to create the ifo's. I have noticed that there are no chapters in each of the vob files, so what do I use that can put the chapters into the vob files without re-encoding. Do I do this before I use IFOEdit or after the ifo and bup files are created please?

Perhaps the easiest is a little utility called Chapter Edit.

Thanks Blutach, it looks as tho it will do the job.
Before I get to this point I have noticed that I have developed a problem using VobEdit and IFOEdit. I follow the guide that I have found by BenBryant. At the Dialog Box (in VobEdit) where I specify the First VOB-ID I choose 1 and all the vobs are sequenced in 1Gb lengths and the last one is a partial of. When I play each vob with my PC dvd player all the vob's are in correct sequence.
Looking in VobEdit the Navigation Pack entry shows that the first Vob Id is now 0 and the next is 1 etc.
Now to IfoEdit, clicking on Create IFOs I end up with the IFO files ok. Following Ben's guide, loading these files into DVDShrink comes up with an error, which mine does, so this has to be corrected using the Mock Strip process.....now this is where it goes wrong! The resultant Ifo and Vob files DO load into DVDShrink as they should with no errors but 3/4 of the first VOB_01 is missing (it is still all in 1Gb lots but the movie starts some way through the picture).
Does anyone know why it is losing this?

Very strange. I suspect it is because of the VobID=0. This I have not seen, nor do I think is it legal. I wonder how it muxed like that.
