I've found an AVi clip of a movie I was looking for (and that's good) but the I got problems with the audio (and this is bad!)
It plays bad in Videolan and doesn't play at all in MPC and Winmedia Player.
This are the results from AVICodec:

Video : 72 MB, 935 Kbps, 25.0 fps, 320*240 (4:3), DX50 = DivXNetworks Divx v5, Supported
Audio : 2.49 MB, 32 Kbps, 22050 Hz, 2 channels, 0x161 = Windows Media Audio V2, Supported

So it is a WMA audio track.
Before I give up, I'd like to try to convert the audio to another format and put it back in the file.
I tried to demux the audio with VirtualDub and VirtualDubMod, but what I get is a WAV file that no software is capable of dealing with.
Ideas?

seems like it plays at the wrong rate, because it starts and stops, but no words are skipped

Might be a Rule #6 violation (no discussion of downloaded material).

Don't worry, it's not a feature movie. It's a TV recording.

Download and install the divx ;) audio codec (it is a hack of the wma v2 acm codec, I think free-codecs.com has it)
