Converting a DVD video to AVI?

Hi does anyone know a good program to convert a VOB to AVI? I searched the forums, but it said no results. Also please don't say any of these programs:

Virtualdub-MPEG2 - Video and audio go out of sync.
TMPGEnc - Video and audio go out of sync.
FlaskMPEG - Crashes everytime I encode.

I am getting really fed up, all I want to do is convert some DVD footage to plain AVI! Please help if you can, thanks!

Personally I use Celtic_Druid's build of FairUse Wizard. Do a seach for Fairuse and you'll see what I'm talking about.
