View Full Version : Suggested additional RipIt4Me capability

For those of us who have (prior to the most recent versions of "RipIt4Me") already ripped many of our DVDs to our hard drives for PC playback, it would be great if "RipIt4Me" would read from our hard drives, as well as our DVD-ROMs and burners.

The primary benefit of this would be to AUTOMATICALLY eliminate those LARGE useless .VOBs (that Disney and SONY often place on their DVD releases) that may be included in our hard drive rips.

I would hope that "jeanl" and others users familiar with "RipIt4Me" understand my purpose in posting this suggestion.

Now that I think of it, I guess this specific function could be added to "FixVTS"...

Not a bad idea. I already have done it. I created a ISO with Imgburn 2 including the layer change. I then mounted it and put it though RipIt4Me.

Yes, I have done that too. It's a bit cumbersome but very do-able.

I did it as a test just to try out the improved movie only mode. It was the first DVD I found where the movie was not VTS 1 prior to RipIt4Me.
