Why doen't CoreAAC never say "PS"

I often music file by MPC . I choose menu View/filter / CoreAAC but I never see CoreAAC with PS . My CoreAAC cannot decode PS ?

It can, it just doesn't say that it is.

I don't understand . Foobar can dectect LC+SBR+PS but perhaps CoreAAC can't

Foobar and Coreaac are based on the same decoder FAAD.

But i remember there is some version who is little buged with informations but works fine, i mine download from www.free-codecs.com

That is definitly something wrong.

It is abnormal if PS is activated at 96 kbps ( PS is usefull only for 40 kbps and lower). Don't wait that any decoder should decode it fine.

but the decoder tells 93kbps SBR.

Sometimes, I'm very happy because I don't need to encode with high bitrate but I still have "high bitrate AAC" file :D

I encoded by Megui. And then, I mux aac into mp4 by YAMB
I using Haali splitter for mp4 and mkv
