Here is my problem: when I use MenuEdit to change some parts of the dvd menu, they are correctly recognized and applied if I read the dvd with my computer, but when I insert the same dvd in the standalone player, these disappear and the menu returns as it was in the original dvd. An example: in the menu there's a button with the command "Jump to title 1" and I change it in "Jump to title 2", in the computer the command is executed correctly (the second one), but in the standalone player is still executed the first. Is this a program problem, or am I forgetting something?

Menus are in two groups.

16x9 is usually Group 1.
4:3 Pan & Scan is usually Group 2.

Most likely, you are just editing Group 1 in MenuEdit. Your TV might be using Group 2.

In MenuEdit, you have to edit each group separately. This is a pain since you have to do every thing twice. I believe the free version of MenuEdit is restricted for advanced menus. This could also be your problem.

I would suggest using the menu editor built into PGCEdit, rather than the older MenuEdit. PGCEdit will automatically change both groups. It will even make a backup in case you make a mistake. PGCEdit is also more powerful in that it allows you to cut and paste commands and even trace the button commands.

The free version of MenuEdit can only edit group 1. You have to pay, or use PgcEdit to edit both groups.

@Video Dude: Thanks for the ad! ;)

Thanks, I'll try the PgcEdit menu editor (I didn't know PgcEdit had one)...
Edit: you were right, I modified the group 2 and the dvd is now ok! thanks so much :)
