Right...

I'm backing up Fawlty Towers, using VobBlanker to split it from 2 discs to 4. What I'm trying to do is to use PGCedit to change where the main menu buttons go. About as proficient as an orangutan in quantum mechanics with these things so you'll have to bear with me and point out any further info required, but this is what I want to do:

Change where MAIN MENU button 2 (episode selection) goes, skipping the first screen which contains episodes not on the disc - to make it go from program 1 cell 1 to program 3 cell 3, instead of program 2 cell 2. I want to do much the same thing with MAIN MENU button 3 (scene selection), but this time the screen I want to go to is in another PGC.. I think.

I've done this kind of thing before, but it was much easier then than it is now. I've got no idea where the actual commands are this time, if you know what I mean.

Please help.

EDIT: BTW, I've been looking at 2COOL's guides and this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=102141&highlight=pgcedit+change+button) without success. They're slightly different from what I'm trying to do and I just don't understand them enough to be able to apply it to this.

There isn't enough info in your screenshot to be sure it works, but try to replace the second cell command by LinkCN Cell 3. You will have to do a similar change in the button command, to jump to cell 3 instead of cell 2 (assuming cell 2 is the cell leading to the deleted episodes.)

Another, completely different method, is to remap the cell you don't want. In the PGC editor, look at the VOB/Cell ID of cell 3; you will need it later. Then, locate cell 2 (with the buttons leading to the deleted episodes), and click on the button with the VOB/Cell ID, at the end of the line. Select "Pick an existing VOB/Cell ID", and use the sliders to specify the VOB and Cell IDs of cell 3. Accept by clicking OK twice.
This way, you have physically replaced cell 2 with cell3, and whenever cell 2 is called, cell 3 will appear.
Take care: there is no undo for this remapping function. Do an incremental backup first, and test carefully, especially if the buttons are working correctly!
Note that the unused cell is still in the VOB file. If you want to remove it to regain disc space, use FixVTS or VobBlanker.

Thanks r0lZ,
I hadn't replaced the second cell command. Managed to figure out the other button as well; works perfectly.
