90 Minutes CDR : Bitrate and size ?

I just bought some of the new 90 minute CDR's
And CDRwin burns them fine on my HP 10 speed burner.
My "Divido" SVCD player accepts them and plays them nice
but what is the value I have to fill in ?
74 Minutes = 740 MB (from the bitrate tab ..)
80 Minutes = 800 MB
90 Minutes = 900 MB ???? (from my "brain logic")

Could anyone confirm this ?
(Also any others have experience with those ??)

Your brain logic seems to work just fine!

If you enter 895MB than you have 5MB spare if some calculation does not work exactly right!

Yes i began to use 90 min cdr succesfully on my teac cd writer but i didn't noticed one thing, the burner woks great with them and shows no errors at all but only burns data until 87,5 min then there are 2,5 minutes lost, i realized it when i was watching a movie and it stopped looping on a scene, then i introduced the second cd an it started 1 minute after that looping scene so after several tries on different movies i deduced something was wrong with my burner and that's the problem, it doesn't burn more than 87,5 min so by now i always use on the bitrate chart 875 mb on each cd, and calculate over 87.5 mins, that's secure and simple, no more lost scenes....
You should try what's the max mb your cd burner supports!

i thought you were talking about the actual space on the disks and not what DVD2SVCD has...

True but SVCDs are not data cds like divx avi files are. This question is /has been forever in the newbie reference Bitrate section ya know.

Does your cd burner overburn?

there shows that the size of the cd depends on the data you write on it (the mode, if that mode has EC, etc)
