How to get the I-frames from mpeg2 to build nice menu.

Hello,

I have a request to build nice "captures" for the menu , from the vobfile
but i dont want to do it in classic way :

1: mplayer -vo jpeg evry n frames , then manual choose of good thumbs


i would like to fetch all i-frames witch are supposed to be full jpegs and only choose in them , this will make less pictures to analyse for the operator .

But how could i automaticly pick up all i-frames from mpeg2 ?

sorry if my post is unclear , i'm not a mpeg2 pro but i couldn't found anything about this .

You can use VirtualdubMod, Trackbar, Holding down SHIFT to snap to keyframes/I-frames. Video menu, snapshot source frame.
