Hi!
I have a problem with a BT848 card in my brandnew PCI express system.
I have a Neo 4F motherboard, nforce 4 chipset with an Athlon 64, a Gigabyte Graphic card with a geforce 7300 gs and several addon cards.
On all AGP configurations I had the last 6 years the card worked fine, its a Guillemot MaxiTV PCI2 with a BT848.
Then I upgraded to PCI express and now the BTWincap and also the original drivers are unable to install the three drivers. These are: Video Xbar, Video device, Audio device. Only the audio device is installed, the others have a qestion mark in the windows XP device manager.
The only way it worked was to plug my serial ata drive that was formerly in my AGP system into my new motherboard, solve the hardware detection problems, and the card was working. But now its sold on ebay, and there's no way to restore the old config.
But the OS wasn't very reliable and so I decided to make a brand new install. The problem persists after a bios upgrade, changing some bios settings ....
Is there a solution for this or do I need an USB TV card?
ADDON 17.08.06 - no answers????
So it was finally an option in the advanced cmos setup there was an option "MDT table version! I set it to 1.1 and the drivers installed properly. After setting it back to 1.4 the card still continued working
