tuning Analog channels with a hybrid card

so ive got myself a digital/analog hybrid card and want to record a local community access style station on analog.
but i can only seem to pick up digital channels when i scan for them with web-scheduler or with my tv tuner software.
is there some setting i have to change to get these channels??
