I would like to get some help on how to configure correctly this excellent filter. I am experiencing some hard lines around objects after deinterlacing te video.
BTW, I wouldl ike to know your opinion on what's the best choice to deinterlace the video. Should I use this filter or VD's own deinterlace filter?

Here's a pic showing the main screen. Can aynone help me please? Thanks in advance.

There's no way to configure it correctly, each video is interlaced to different degrees. Experiment with "show motion" areas and just try to hit the jagged lines with the deinterlacer and not the regular lines in the clip. I've had luck with setting the threshold=5 then again I haven't on others. I've never had any good output with blend disabled.
Experiment with Smart, Area-based, Fielddeinterlace, Kerneldeinterlace (Decomb package on Avisynth external filters page) but I've had the best luck with Tomsmocomp.

This page I think used to have description of Smart. He said he had better luck with Field and Frame differencing:
