I used the 90' 800MB cds and they play fine the vcd movie, the good thing is that you may oveburn to 99' using nero or winoncd 3.8, my cheap apex is able to read without problems, so for now I do not need to split my movies into 2 cd of 70'

Some 90 min CD-Rs can be overburned to 99mins, but not all ... depends on the manufacturer.

I got mine from the local computer shop ... but they (90min) are not too common. There is a section in the CDR-FAQ with a link: http://www.cdrfaq.org/faq03.html#S3-8-2 - but the shop seems to be based in Europe.
I have never seen 99min blanks ... but they are out there :). Not a lot of burners will write them, though.
