For example a DVD player hooked up to it using composite cable/
A an old video gaming console using composite cable???

(I ask this question becase my LCD tv is giving me something that I dont except...when I use the component cable and use 480p input, everything is fine, but when I hook my dreamcast (I never tried that before)using the 3-color (yello, red, white) composite cable, my LCD mon gives me interlace artifact (horizontal line appears when there is movement...)

Isnt is supposed that my LCD monitor will do the deinterlation for me? (As I know, LCD monitors dont have interlace display mode, when they receive i signal, they must first interlace it to progressive...and then dispaly, am I wrong?)

I saw someone like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Interlace.jpg

It the because deinterlaced in my LCD monitor too crappy???

You may or may not see combing depending on your TV. If it has some sort of deinterlacer built-in you should be fine.
