Just use the ISO mode of DVDDecrypter to create an ISO image out of your DVD and then burn it using whichever app you want.

Good luck :)

Hi,

This is why I posted the Ripit4me solution as the first link.

Would you be kind enough to read (and test) the proposed solutions linked above before asking questions that ARE covered in these links, thank you.

Help Please read and follow forum rules, specifically, rule 9: use a proper thread title. Thank you.

@mx718

You have had 5 days to read and understand our forum rules. Perhaps you have forgotten them. Please re-read them, including rule 10 regarding PMing mods about problems which should be (and are) posted in the forums.

O really?

Than you have read the DvdShrink Guide page: http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdshrink31-main.htm
taken from this page: http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdbackup-guides.htm
taken from this page linked in my post: http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvdr-guides.htm

If it is the case, you have read the how-to keep menus and extras:
Obviously, keeping the entire DVD, the video has to be compressed more to fit on a single DVD±R disc, but it allows you to keep all the fancy menus. If you want to keep everything, press the Backup! button.
Or only the movie:
select Re-author instead (technically, when re-authoring you create a new disc from scratch and add whatever you like from the original disc to it). Re-author allows you to create your own DVD by putting only content that you really want on a DVD. It does not allow you to keep the menus though.

DvdShrink stuff seems what you need to solve your problem if your statement ( what i can do if the space of the file dont fit on the disk ) is accurate. If not accurate, and if you didn't read this DvdShrink guide I cannot use it for you.
If the directions provided here are not enough for you, feel free to google on "DvdShrink guide" and get more informations elsewhere like:
http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/
http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49051
http://www.tutorialguide.net/dvd_and_cd-r/dvd_ripping/
http://maxt.dk/wp-print.php?p=208

Now if you don't have DvdShrink or DvdDecrypter at hand or even (true story !) access to a computer to backup DVD, I/We cannot do anything for you.

Edit: From this post: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=859030#post859030 , it seems the author has solved his problem without letting us know. I have given an answer in the other thread and I'm also out in this one :(

@mx - as neuron2 has asked, you, please change the title of this thread. It is not difficult to do - open post 1 and change "Help" to something that reflects more the topic of this thread.

And please do not cross post - see rule 8.

TIA.

That DVD has ArccOS on it. Rip it first with RipIt4Me (http://www.ripit4me.org/) and load it into DVD Shrink using "Open Files".

It also has 3 main titles, 2 being alternative endings (each with angles). So, if you are re-authoring, you will need to select which title you want.

And, thank you for changing the thread title :)
