Running WXP MCEd, and showing a movie in PowerDVD.
Tried to do a Print Screen using the keyboard and dumping the capture into Paint Shop Pro 7.04, but all I get is a shot of the display area and a grayed out screen where the image is supposed to be.
Is there any way to do this?
I found nothing on this subject in the Forum.

Not if the output is via hardware overlay. However, if you change it to VMR7 renderless or any VMR9 mode, you should be able to take a snapshot. (Whether or how this is possible in PowerDVD I can't say.) You may need to use the internal screencap key, depending on how PowerDVD's display programming is set up.

@BillB
Hi!
Click on the following link for all the different ways to use PowerDVD to perform screen captures:
http://www.cyberlink.com/english/products/powerdvd/tips_tricks/screen/screen_tips.jsp
(This same information is available by simply clicking on PowerDVD's "Help" dropdown menu)
BTW, if you were to use WinDVD instead, you'd simply press the "P" key to capture a screen image...

Thanks!
Since lots of people tell me WinDVD is much better than PowerDVD, I will try that pg too.
