I have a video (a friends wedding in HD) that he encoded in x264 (small size to ftp).. cannot ftp again as we maxed out caps doing this.
My family here want to watch it, and i would like to show them all it on my 42" tv, hooked up to the 360.
I cannot get the 360 to stream/play x264.
How (step by step please (not noddy basic but in steps)) do i go about doing this.
So far i can extract from the container. Then attempt to convert but get a low res blocky mess, even if i encode at 9000K stream.
I am completely stuck.. Half the programs i attempt to use crash/give random (read blank) error boxes.
Cheers for the help
/edit i read this:
If so, what I usually do to convert MKVs are load them into virtualdubmod, frameserve them to a vfp, load that with AVISource in AVIsynth, then feed that into your encoder.
but have no idea what it really means :-/
