recently i have a problem with burning DVD wither burning an ISO/UDF or DVD copy .....

the problem is the result DVD only can be read on DVD writer not DVD-Rom and when i check what's wrong, DVD decrypter 3.5.4.0 said "table of content[TOC] not found "

i burn using nero 6, my writer is Lite-on and i'm using Vio DVD-R ...

has anyone ever encountered the same problem ?
or anyclue where is the error ?

thanks in advance for anyhelp...^_^

i'm using Vio DVD-RIs that a brand of burnable media? If so, perhaps that's the cause of your problem. Try higher quality media...

yep,
vio is the name of the brand ....
i'm thinking of changing to another brand ....

other than the possibility of brand fault's
might there be other causes for TOC not found ?

It could be that your DVD-ROM cannot read that format disk, whether it's DVD+R or DVD-R. I have one older DVD-ROM that cannot read burned +R data disks. It's even possible that you've selected too high a burn speed - it's usually best to not exceed half the rated burn speed of either the drive or media, whichever is slower.

When you get the TOC error from DVD Decrypter, is that when you're using the burner to read the disk, or the other drive?

i got TOC error only when i'm using DVD-ROM not DVD-RWROM...

now i changing the DVD-R Brand to the other one that my DVD-RW recommended brand .....

and i tried several burning speed so far no more TOC problem .....
so i think speed doesn't matter if ur media is good ...

and it's keep me amused how simply only by changing a brand solved the problem.... @_@

thanks for anyhelp :thanks:
nb:sorry for the long reply,i'm really busy in the past 3 days so can't get in touch with internet T_T
