I've just read about new Sony's consumer camcorder (http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/HDR-UX1-and-HDR-SR1---Sony-Unveils-AVCHD-Camcorders.htm) which records video to hard disk in AVCHD format. Author of the article says that Blu-Ray players and Playstation 3 will be able to read DVD-Rs with AVC video burned.
Is that truth? Does Sony anounced any software to burn AVC video to DVD-R compatible with Blu-Ray players?
