Getting PowerDvd to open ISO files

I am using Cyberlink PowerDVD but cannot get it to open ISO files on my networked HD.

On the Doom9 website it indicates that this is as simple as opening up the source folder of the drive that holds the movies, but I couldnt get PowerDVD to "see" those files.

I could install Daemon tools to "mount" the DVD, but was wondering if that is necessary.

Use daemon tools to "load" the ISO to a virtual drive.

The normal way to open files with powerdvd is to open the video_ts folder.

ISO is the image,and you'd have to extract the folder to not use daemon or Alcohol.

Hi!

You might want to try using "VLC" player (Formerly "VideoLAN) freeware for playing your .ISO image files. "VLC" does NOT require that you mount the .ISO image files in order to play them...
