How come everything gets brighter when choosing rgb or yv12, while it is darker and more reddish when choosing yuy2? Am using a phillips saa7133 card to capture...

When watching the stream using the histogram in yuy2, the first and last part are in red... what does that indicate? Thanks for any info.

I just realized my phillips saa713x card does UYVY internally, yet I always choose yuy2. I know these are supposed to be identical, but is the conversion the card makes internally between these two lossless or should I change to capturing with UYVY?
